Theme Search Winners for New Hampshire
 
The NH PTA Board of Directors has voted on the following themes to send to National PTA for consideration for the Reflections Theme for 2013-2014. They are listed in no particular order.
 
1. "The world to me is..." by Tara Stoddard, Sandown PTA, Grade 5
 
2. "Take My Hand" by Alana Smith, Sandown PTA, Grade 5
 
3. " Free To Be Me!" by Zoe Thompson, Sandown PTA, Grade 3
 
4. "The Beauty of Friendship is..." by Mackenzie Savard, Barka PTA, Grade 5
 
5. "Family is..." by Jessica Tellier, Barka PTA, Grade 4
 
Thank you to the students for submitting some great ideas and to Barka Elementary PTA and Sandown PTA who promoted the theme search contest.  National PTA will announce the theme in January.

State Dues Increase: The NHPTA Board of Directors proposes an increase of state dues from $1.50 to $2.00 effective July 1, 2012. The NHPTA has not increased their dues in three years, though costs have risen dramatically. The increase of $.50 will enable NH PTA to continue to support the Reflections program, our State Convention, and provide the many resources available to our members that affect the education, health and welfare of children. PTA is the only association that advocates for all children.
